| Many organizational leaders are proficient and comfortable handling the technical or objective aspects of their business. For example, they may know how to analyze and measure financial results or eliminate waste in the production of goods and services. Other leaders are more adept at leveraging the human or subjective side of their business. They may be empathetic, for instance, and capable of inspiring others to rally behind a common cause.
Integral Leaders, by comparison, lead from a place of balanced, integrated and comprehensive awareness. They are able to hold multiple perspectives simultaneously and integrate these perspectives in such a way as to see a larger and more coherent worldview. This multi-perspective worldview enables them to include, yet transcend, the options available to them from any single perspective. For Integral Leaders, "either/or" thinking gives way to "both/and" awareness resulting in better decisions and actions.

The Poling Group works with leaders and teams to develop a multi-perspective worldview that is based on the integral four-quadrant framework of Ken Wilber. Our own version, as displayed below, enables leaders and teams to hold a comprehensive and robust view of all those variables helping and hindering their agendas. From this vantage point, we help leaders discover and enact those scenarios, solutions and actions with the greatest scope and greatest depth for themselves and others, thereby improving their choices and chances for success.

| By helping leaders develop a multi-perspective, four-quadrant worldview that includes the tangible and intangible, we enable them to see a "larger and deeper picture" that exists beyond the sum of its component parts. We help empower leaders and teams to make decisions and take actions that are proactive, comprehensive and impactful for themselves and the many stakeholders they serve. |
